Dear Mr. Valerio
I hope you are having a great beginning of your school year!  I received your name and email from our past recruiting chair, Jayson Roberts.  From what I understand Jayson has been very involved in recruiting students at Townview Science and Engineering Magnet for the ACE Mentor Program.  I am not sure if you are aware but over the past 10 years we have had over 214 students from Townview Science and Engineering Magnet be involved in ACE.
If you don’t know about ACE, in short, ACE is a mentor program for junior and senior with the goal of introducing students to careers in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction.  Attached is a letter that describes ACE in more detail and other information what you can distribute to your students.  The benefits to students include:
·         Opportunities for four-year scholarships
·         Increased professional network
·         Project-based learning that ties class room to real world
·         Understanding of career opportunities within the building industry
We are getting ready to begin our 2015 – 2016 year and would really enjoy the opportunity to come speak at Townview Science and Engineering Magnet.  Our typical speaking engagement consists of a short, 20 – 30 minutes presentation, in front of a class, to present the benefits of ACE and to answer any questions your students may have.
Our admission cutoff date is October 16Would there be a time in the next three weeks (9/21 thru 10/9)  that we could come speak to your students?
Thank you for your time and we are looking forward to a great ACE year!
