The first photo is of my wife, Kathy, and me, kayaking in the Haro Strait on the west side of San Juan Island at Lime Kiln State Park, Washington. The other three photos were taken in the National Air and Space Museum, Washington, D.C. The blue cube is Aerogel, the lightest solid ever created, only slightly denser than air. Aerogel was used in the Stardust mission to collect cometary and interstellar dust samples. In the last photo, we are in the upper right part of the Maple Leaf in the Living Canadian Flag on the Parliament Grounds in Victoria.
